This course is aimed at kids from age 7 to 15 years who have no sailing experience. During the course, they will sail on one of our teaching boats under the supervision of a coach.
Topics covered during this course include:
- Theory of sailing and parts of the boat
- Rigging and derigging of the boat
- Tacking and gybing
- Sailing around a course
This course is will run for 6 sessions of 2.5 hours duration. A discount of 5% applies if more than 1 family member joins the course at the same time
The next course will start on the 8th March and will run on Saturdays from 1.30 to 4pm
