Once again we will be holding a major cleanup event in Marsamxett Harbour targeting both land and marine areas. We encourage club members and the public to join us on this environmental initiative.
This event will be carried out in conjunction with the Armed Forces of Malta Maritime Squadron and EOD Divers and is supported by the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Public Cleanliness (MEEC), Cleansing and Maintenance Division, Saving our Blue, S & D Yachts and the Grand Hotel Excelsior.
Meeting place: Vikings Sailing Club.
This year we will be tackling different shore areas in the harbour while the EOD divers will be carrying out the seabed cleanup assisted by the Vikings Team.
