Set in a beautiful Valletta’s Marsamxett Harbour, Vikings Sailing Club enjoys calm seas even during the winter months, making it safe and feasible to provide sailing courses all year round.
We will teach you some basic sailing theory, also you will learn how to rig and derig a sailing boat, but most of your time you will be sailing on one of our larger teaching boats with an instructor on board, who will teach you hands on the basics of sailing e.g. helming, tacking, sail adjustment according to wind direction etc.
The intensive beginners sailing course has 6 sessions, 2.5 hrs each, once or twice a week.
Prices is: €240
We will provide a life jacket and will advise you about which clothes to wear.
