Description
The Aim of this course is to cover all aspects of sailing with spinnakers. Starting with how to rig and hoist your spinnaker. And finishing with all sailors able to efficiently complete a course on the water. During this you will not only gain the practical on the water skills but also understanding of how spinnakers work and interact with boat performance.
Minimum entry requirements is the attendance for 1 term of intermediate
NOTE: Course will be done on the club RS Fevas. All sailors will be required to pay a €50 spinnaker deposit. In the case of damage, the repairs will be deducted from the deposit of the two sailors that were using the boat when the incident happened. The deposit is to be paid in cash before the start of the first session of the course. If no damages to the spinnaker are sustained, the deposit will be refunded in full.Â
Course duration: 5 sessions of 4 hours each
Dates: 30/3/25, 6/4/25, 27/4/25, 4/5/25, 11/5/25. No sessions 6th & 13th April
Time: Sunday 8.30am – 12.30pm
Price per sailor: Club Feva €200 plus €50 spinnaker deposit (To be paid before the first session). Own boat €125
