Description
This course is especially aimed at adults who wish to sail but have difficulty with leaving their kids in care during the session. Both adults and kids (7+) are accepted for this course and will sail on separate teaching boats due to the different pedagogical approaches required. Adults are welcome to join on their own while kids can also join without their parents.
Sailors will spend all the sessions on our larger teaching boats with an instructor to learn how to helm a boat and other sailing basics such as tacking and sailing around a course.
This course is will run for 6 sessions of 2.5 hours duration. No sailing experience is required. A discount of 5% applies if more than one family member books for the course at the same time.
NOTE: Kids must be able to swim unaided
Day: Friday 5.30-8pm
Session 1 Theory – 27th June
Session 2 – 4th July 5.30 – 8pm
Session 3 – 11th July 5.30 – 8pm
Session 4 – 18th July 5.30 – 8pm
Session 5 – 25th July 5.30 – 8pm
Session 6 – 1st August 5.30-8pm
Please Note: The price you are paying is for the package price for the course which starts on the 27th June. Any session/s that a sailor might miss for any reason whatsoever may not be substituted by attending on any alternative or future date. Nor may any refund for any part of the Course Package Price be claimed.Â
