Vikings Sailing Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Club Manager & Lead Coach to oversee the day-to-day management of our club and lead our coaching programmes. This is a dynamic, hands-on role combining club operations, coaching leadership, and fleet maintenance. The successful candidate will support sailors of all levels — from beginners through cadets to our racing team — across our dinghy classes: Optimist, Topper, RS Feva, RS Toura, and ILCA. The Vikings Sailing Club is still in festive mode celebrating the international participation of two of its young stars, Enrico Emanuele Putzulu Caruana and Jean-Marc Sammut, at the prestigious Choco Cup 2025, held from 22–24 July in Balatonföldvár, Hungary. Maltese sailors Sayon Bonnici, Aneese Bugeja and Jacob Borg recently took part in the International Topper Worlds held in Medemblik from the 21st to the 25th July. They competed in the 5.3 class and were accompanied by coach Matthew Wallis and team leader Roxane Borg. Sailors travelled the Wednesday before the event so as to train on site and get used to the local conditions.The event started with two days of qualifying races. Join us for our annual open day on Sunday 4th May from 9.30am to 3.30pm. We will be offering taster sails around Marsamxett harbour. The event is open to both kids and adult. Just pop by, meet our coaches and members of the committee and get to know more about our club activities and courses.   On the day we will also be offering tasters on our specially adapted Hansa sailing dinghies.
