The club will be offering a spinnaker course starting on the 30th March. The course will be held on Sunday mornings on our club’s double handed boat. It is open to those sailors who have reached a minimum of intermediate level sailing (confident sailors). During the course you will learn to rig a spinnaker, gybe and trim. All this coupled with theory will get you to sail confidently with a spinnaker. This course will only accept a very small number of sailors so booking early is recommended. Are you a complete beginner looking at learning how to sail? Then this course is for you! We will be organising a sailing course for complete beginners starting on the 8th March. The course lasts 6 sessions and will take place on Saturday afternoons. Bookings are now open and very few places are left. Click HERE for more information.
We will soon be launching our adult racing class which will take place on Sunday afternoons starting towards the end of September. If you would like to take part in club races then this class is for you. If you are interested in joining this class email us on sailing@vikings.mt. Info and booking out soon.

The club will be holding its annual open day on the 5th May between 9am and 3pm. On the day, visitors can enjoy a taster sail around Marsamxett Harbour on one of our teaching boats (No booking required). Our coaches and committee members will also be there to answer any questions on our courses including our summer sailing programme for kids. The club will be organising a shore cleanup of Marsamxett harbour on the 21st of April. This event is part of an Erasmus+ project called Clean Run Race. The event is in collaboration with Sportmalta and will take place on the 21st April from 9am to 3pm. The event is supported by Saving our Blue and the Floriana Local Council.
