Adults Beginners Level 1 Sailing Course

This beginners course is aimed for those adults who have no sailing experience. We have a low instructor to sailing ratio so individual attention is guaranteed. The sessions will take place on our teaching boats under the supervision of an instructor. By the end of the course you will be acquire basic skills such as rigging, basic knots, tacking, gybing and sailing around a course. This course is will run for 4 sessions starting with a theory session. On completion of this course you will be invited to join the level 2 course.

 

Course Schedule: 

Session 1 Theory & land session – Friday 15th May 5.30 – 8.00pm

Session 2 – Saturday 16th May  8.30am – 12.30pm

Session 3 – Saturday 23rd May 8.30am – 12.30pm

Session 4 – Sunday 24th May 1-5pm.

 

A discount of 5% will apply if another immediate family members is applying or attending one of our sailing courses.

Description

Sailors will spend most of the sessions on our larger teaching boats with an instructor to learn how to helm a boat and other sailing basics such as tacking and sailing around a course.

This course will run for 4 sessions spread over 2 weeks. No sailing experience is required. A discount of 5% applies if another family member is attending another one of our courses. Please tick box for discount.

Please note that you are applying for a level 1 course and sessions missed due to absence cannot be replaced.
