This group is for those interested in participating in local and international regattas. Coached by performance coach Batuhan Cesur, this group trains regularly on Saturdays with additional race practice sessions on Sundays. Sessions are intensive and take place mostly outside Marsamxett Harbour.
Entry into this group is usually by assessment or after recommendation by coaches from the optimist cadet groups.
The Vikings Sailing Club is a non-profit organization run by volunteers, with the objective of facilitating and promoting sailing especially with the young, promoting good sportsmanship and seamanship and organizing racing, social, educational and informative activities which aim to foster the love of sailing.
